PLEASE READ COMPLETELY BEFORE PURCHASING AN ITEM FOR TRANSFER
Federal law requires that any purchase of a firearm from out of State be completed at a licensed firearms dealer (FFL) and a NYS background check complete.
If you are doing a private sale, person to person, with both parties in the store, you will purchase and pay for the service in store at the time of the transfer.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT INCOMING TRANSFERS FROM INDIVIDUALS. ALL ITEMS MUST BE SHIPPED FROM FFL TO FFL.
If you need to transfer in a firearm purchased from or through an out of State dealer or brokerage (i.e. gunbroker) please select one of the following:
If you are looking to transfer a firearm, please select "FFL Transfer / NYS Background Check".
If you are looking to have ammunition transferred, please select "Ammunition Transfer"
If you send a firearms WITHOUT pre-purchasing the transfer online, you will be charged $75 per firearm.
If you send ammo WITHOUT pre-purchasing the transfer online, you will be charged $50 per case.
These services are ONLY for serialized firearm transfers. If your shipment includes other items (i.e. stocks, uppers, grips, parts kits), a $25.00 handling fee plus the applicable NYS sales tax amount will be assessed.

Due to NYS S9458 which went into effect on September 4th, 2022, semi automatic rifles can only be transferred to individuals who possess a NYS Semi Automatic Rifle License. Acquiring one of these licenses varies by your county of residence. Please see your local pistol licensing agency for details.
IF YOU ARE NOT ACTIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT, YOUR FIREARMS / MAGAZINES MUST BE COMPLIANT WITH THE NY SAFE ACT. ALL MAGAZINES MUST BE 10 ROUND CAPACITY OR LESS. NON-COMPLIANT FIREARMS AND MAGAZINES WILL BE RETURNED AT YOUR EXPENSE OR TURNED OVER THE THE POLICE. ATTEMPTING TO TRANSFER THESE ITEMS WILL RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF YOUR TRANSFER FEE.
COMPLETE LOWERS MUST BE NY COMPLIANT TO BE TRANSFERRED. WE WILL NOT TRANSFER NON-COMPLIANT COMPLETE LOWERS TO NON-LAW ENFORCEMENT CUSTOMERS. NO EXCEPTIONS. WE WILL ALSO NOT REMOVE PARTS TO MAKE SOMETHING COMPLIANT.
EFFECTIVE JULY 6TH, 2022, WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT MOSSBERG SHOCKWAVES, REMINGTON TAC-14'S OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR NON-NFA "FIREARM" FOR TRANSFER DUE TO NYS S9456. IF YOU HAVE ONE SENT IN, IT WILL BE RETURNED TO THE DEALER AT YOUR COST.
NYS S7152/ A6522 (signed 10/28/2021) amends the definition of a "disguised gun" to include pistol/ rifle/ shotguns displaying a color finish other than the original manufacture color or a decorative pattern. Because of this, we can no longer transfer firearms that are not the original factory color (this includes most cerakoted or hydro-dipped firearms). Active LE are exempt from this, if you transfer a firearm in that fits these parameters and you're not Active LE, the firearm will be sent back at your expense.
NYS has moved to a Point of Contact state for background checks. Due to this, the STATE, will charge you $9 per firearm transaction and/or $2.50 per ammo transaction. These fees can ONLY be paid via Credit / Debit Card and are paid directly to NYS.
Please also remember that you, the purchaser are responsible for filing and paying New York State Sales / Use Tax on all items purchased online and delivered to you in New York.
Firearms / ammo will be held for up to 30 days. After that, storage fees will incur. If we do not hear from you or arragements are made to pick up your property, we will begin the abandonment process.
